If your amplifier is still under warranty, please return it to the shop where you purchased it.
Only minor repairs can be done in the shop. The majority are subcontracted out to a fully qualified engineer. Faulty amps are picked up from the shop and the problem is assessed for a fee of £10.00. You can have an estimate for the repair work or you can give us a figure up to which you are prepared to pay. If you choose to go ahead with the repair the investigation fee will go towards the repair cost. The engineer will inform us if a repair is not cost effective or viable.
PLEASE NOTE: REPAIRS TO AMPLIFIERS CAN TAKE A DISPROPORTIONATE AMOUNT OF TIME because faults can be difficult to detect or may be a symptom of a bigger problem and parts are not as readily available as you may expect. Please inform staff if your amp is needed by a particular date – we may be able to lend you a replacement if necessary.
